The role you will be doing

  • Complete return to work case management for injured workers under the WorkCover scheme.
  • Provide holistic support to help restore an individual's highest level of functional performance through relevant assessments such as Initial Needs Assessment, Functional Capacity Evaluations, Workplace Assessments and Vocational Assessments.
  • Deliver Vocational Counselling and facilitate interventions, wellbeing programs, training and upskilling
  • Collaborate and liaise with individuals, employers, medical and other allied health professionals.
  • Develop and Implement recover at work plans, job task analysis, labour market analysis, and job seeking canvassing.

To be considered, you have

  • Completed a tertiary allied health qualification in Rehabilitation Counselling or Psychology.
  • Provisional registration with AHPRA (Australia Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) or Associate ASORC (Australian Society Of Rehabilitation Counsellors) membership or Full RCCAA (Rehabilitation Counselling Association of Australasia) membership
  • Genuine interest in working within Occupational Rehabilitation field
  • Australian working rights in Australia
  • Willingness to obtain a National Police Check
  • Willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check
  • A current driver's licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
