Description

Our client is looking for a highly motivated and skilled Project Support Officer to join our team in supporting the defence sector in an ICT environment.

As a Project Support Officer, you will be responsible for providing administrative and logístical support to project managers and technical teams.

This is a great opportunity to solidify your Project Management skills and take the step into Project Management

Key Responsibilities:

Assist project managers with planning, coordination, and execution of project tasks
Create and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and status reports
Coordinate project meetings, workshops, and events, including preparation of agendas and meeting materials
Monitor project budget and expenses, and support financial management and reporting
Maintain project tracking tools and databases to ensure accurate and uptodate information is available to project teams
Manage project logistics, such as travel arrangements and accommodation bookings
Liaise with stakeholders, including customers and suppliers, to ensure project requirements are met
Support the implementation of project management methodologies and tools

Key Requirements:

Proven experience in project support roles in an ICT environment, preferably in the defence sector
Strong administrative and organizational skills, with a high level of attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, Excel, and SharePoint
Understanding of project management methodologies, primarily Agile
