As a Junior Settlements Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring efficient and accurate settlements for clients.


Responsibilities:


  • Perform daily settlement tasks under the supervision of senior staff members.
  • Conduct reconciliation of bank accounts to transaction accounts, reporting any discrepancies to supervisors for resolution.
  • Assist in bookkeeping activities using Xero accounting software, maintaining organized and accurate financial records.
  • Support the processing of withdrawal payments with thirdparty Payment Service Providers (PSPs), following established procedures and security measures.
  • Respond to customer cases promptly and professionally, escalating complex issues to supervisors as necessary.
  • Foster positive relationships with external service providers, facilitating effective communication and problemsolving.
  • Assist in preparing transaction remittances for the night shift, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Contribute to daily settlement procedures and data entry into the ledger system.

Requirements:


  • Well organised with high accuracy levels and extreme attention to detail.
  • Experience in funds settlements or a similar role is strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Work well in a team and be able to work autonomously and take ownership of tasks.
  • High proficiency in both English and Mandarin.
  • Familiar with MT4/MT5 Trading system is a plus.
