About the role
The role of the Finance Officer assists in the coordination of all day-to-day financial requirements of the Foundation, including coordination and processing of payroll activities and coordination and management of credit cards.
The position will be responsible for key areas of financial management and will work closely with the Finance Team to ensure successful business management, financial compliance and risk management, while assisting in other financial activities, including maintaining of the general ledger.
The Finance Team supports the fundraising efforts of the Foundation by high quality provision of information, leadership and advice in the areas of budgeting, financial management and reporting.
The position will work closely with the Finance Team to ensure highest quality financial management and fundraising compliance, while adopting a customer focused approach to the support of donors and fundraisers and staff.
To be successful:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in similar role
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Clear understanding of and personal commitment to the mission and values of the Foundation
- Demonstrated experience with financial reporting requirements
- Demonstrated experience in payroll process
- Demonstrated data entry management and finance system processing experience
