ABOUT THE ROLE:


Summary of the role:
Full
Time Lifestyle Coordinator needed to join the team at Mercy Place Wyndham in Werribee.

Play a vital role in the planning and delivery of individual and group activity programs designed to enhance our residents' wellbeing.

**- Full time position available

  • Make a difference in aged care by coordinating a meaningful lifestyle program that overcomes boredom, inactivity, isolation and depression with our residents.
  • Create, facilitate and evaluate individual and group lifestyle programs to ensure that our residents have the best day possible each and every day.
  • Provide leadership, training and support to a team of Lifestyle Assistants and volunteers
  • You will be supported and guided by the Service Manager.

ABOUT YOU:


  • Certificate IV in Lifestyle & Leisure (Diversional Therapy), or similar
  • A minimum of 12 months experience in a lifestyle or personal care role in an aged care environment
  • First Aid Level II certificate
  • Highly motivated and engaging personality with a desire to teach and make a difference within the home
  • Demonstrated leadership and communication skills and an excellent relationshipbuilder
  • Previous experience delivering recreational activities and the ability to work within a team
