FULL TIME PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN
Walkinshaw Group is a Global Leader in The Design, Engineering, Development, And

Marketing of Performance Vehicles based in Victoria looking for an experienced Production

Technician to join their dynamic team.


Tasks include:

• Fitting and set up JIG fixtures to perform weld
• Referring Process Control Plans (PCP), fit and assemble new parts to Pickup Trucks.
• Perform MIG welding when necessary.
• Fitting fabricated metal parts on subassemblies
• Make special tools and jigs using CAD data.
• Perform Quality checks and inspections on assembled parts and vehicles.
• Communicate with design engineers and manufacturing engineers to build optimum

- product.

• Perform general periodic maintenance of tools and machines.
• Achieving highest possible vehicle quality standards
• Delivering training to all new and current assembly production staff
• Ensuring adherence to all WAG OH&S standards

Skill level required:

• Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical Trade.
• Minimum three year's work experience in a similar capacity.
• Proven attention to detail.
• Ability to manage changing priorities.
• A demonstrated ability to follow standardised process and work systematically.
• Strong safety focus.
• MIG welding skills would be an added advantage.

Salary:
$63,233.00 per year


Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Clayton South, VIC 3149: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Work Authorisation:

• Australia (preferred)
