The opportunity:


As the Stockroom Manager in Sephora, you are the Inventory Controller and you are fundamental to our business to ensure that all products and marketing/animation collateral are properly stored, and accurate and appropriate levels of stock are maintained at optimum inventory levels to meet customer demand.


You'll play a vital role in:

  • Driving scheduled cycle counts to ensure capacity of stock is known and optimised to help avoid out of stock SKUs.
  • Utilising and exploiting data to support with operational decisions to reduce shortage/loss by preparing reports as needed on stock control.
  • Consistently monitor and investigate negative stock levels and following up with the team as necessary.
  • Implementing a continuous improvement mentality by working in partnership with the Senior Management team, Supply Chain, and Planning team to ensure that business and operational results are achieved
  • Serving as the point of contact for stock levels to disseminate and/or action items as necessary to confidently make store decisions.
  • Training and educating the wider team on shrinkage and BOH policies and procedures.

  • Are open to drive operational initiatives including product launches, marketing updates, and support visual merchandising changes to represent the Sephora brand and culture.
  • Want to see the success of your leadership by assisting in managing the profit and loss of your store by monitoring stock levels to maximise sales; identify, analyse, and forecast sales or issues.
  • Have a passion to maintain a strong and positive culture where everyone is valued, recognized, and enabled to succeed through feedback and career development, coaching, learning, and recognition.
  • Value core metrics to measure performance, improve, and achieve Sephora's vision of being the most loved beauty community. You'll also monitor KPIs and help develop store talent.

We would love to hear from you if:

  • You have previous retail stock management experience at a big box retailer including previous SAP experience
  • You have excellent organizational, analytical, and business management skills
  • You have a suitable level of physical fitness as you will be lifting and shifting boxes that can weigh up to 15kg
  • You have strong emotional intelligence, communication skills, can work independently but also have the ability to influence team members at all levels
  • Have a drive for results with a history of exceeding sales targets and KPI's
  • Are proficient in using the Microsoft Office Suite
