Key Account Manager - Freight Forwarding

Your new role

Establish and Maintain an effective customer management plan that includes a formalized review structure and business plan for each client on an ongoing basis to ensure the maximization of all business offerings.
Maintain relationships with assigned key accounts on a national level.
Assist branches to develop local account management structures.
Identify, research, and resolve customer issues using the computer system and overseas networks.
Reduce the risk of unexpected downtime for customers.
Recommends process improvements.
Organize/attend regular customer meetings between key personnel and customers to facilitate service improvements and consolidate customer relationships.

What you will need to succeed

At least 5 years experience in international freight forwarding & Account Management/Customer Care.
Experience in managing and developing key accounts.
High level of concentration
Ability to meet competing timelines
Hard working attitude
Good with technology and has a tech mindset
Excellent communicator
Able to build relationships and be the first point of contact for your portfolio of clients on a regular basis
