As part of FIS Credit Card Solutions, this team work on the P1C (Payments One Card) Product.

Driven by customer requirements, focusing on development and providing support to clients you will work closely with a wider team within testing services and product development to deliver our product to major clients.

What you will be doing:

Mainframe development and programming using CICS, Cobol, and Assembler
Production support for client issues and changes
Development of software release updates to be delivered to our data centres globally and aiding integration into each centre.
Building test tools (usually in Rexx) to improve the quality of software delivery
Providing project assistance, advice and guidance for design, development, testing and implementation activities.
Supporting a z/OS to Cloud migration project over the next few years.

What you bring:

Experience working with credit card systems
Sound technical proficiency in Cobol and
Interest in learning Assembler and Rexx
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong time management skills and an ability to work independently

A bonus if you have:

Experience with P1C, Assembler, DB2, Java, or Rexx,
Some knowledge of the ISO8583 standard
