Your role
The LPAB is a self-funding statutory corporation, constituted by NSW legislation, and has responsibility for:

  • determining the eligibility and suitability of people seeking to be admitted as a lawyer
- registering, enrolling and examining students in the LPAB's Diploma in Law Course
- appointing public notaries in NSW.


The LPAB delivers the Diploma in Law Course in partnership with the Law Extension Committee of the University of Sydney, which provides the tuition to enrolled students.

What you'll do
The Legal Profession Admission Board of NSW (LPAB) is seeking a Business Readiness Change Lead to facilitate the change implementation of three complex, business-critical, information technology projects that will replace existing bespoke systems that are currently used to:

  • manage student services
- manage the appointment of public notaries
- manage lawyer admissions.


The role will:

  • Develop and implement change management plans for currently identified projects.
  • Assess change readiness in the Office of the LPAB and drive necessary preparations.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the Office of the LPAB and IT project teams.
  • Facilitate business process redesign and projectrelated problemsolving.

What we're looking for

Key knowledge and experience

  • Substantial experience in ITrelated change management in an operational context
  • Deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in implementing customer relationship/case management systems
  • Highly organised and detailsoriented but always with an eye on the big picture
  • An engaging facilitator, an attentive listener and a collaborative problemsolver
  • Interested in a handson role (that is, actively doing/delivering not just talking/planning).
  • National Criminal History Record Check in accordance with the Disability Inclusion Act 201
  • Working with Children Check clearance in accordance with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012
