About the organisation

Our client is part of a large government - owned utility company that operates across the whole of Australia.

Through their rapidly growing national footprint, their teams work across all areas of connectivity and sustainability, delivering projects of any size or scope.

As a result, we are now seeking Project Support Officers to join the team.

About the role

Reporting directly into the Project Manager and Construction Managers, you will provide effective project and program support to the Energy & Infrastructure team and contributes to the successful delivery of projects.

Further to this, you will:
Document, update and communicate project risks, issues, dependencies and decisions;
Manage onboarding and induction of new project resources;
Execute procurement and HSE activities;
Ensure travel and on - site equipment requirements are met; and

Organise workshops, project meetings, recording of minutes and the distribution of papers, as required.

About you

To be successful in this position, you will have previous project administration experience, ideally within a similar industry (Utilities, Infrastructure, Civil Construction, or Government Regulated)

Additionally, you will have:
A Cert IV in Business Administration or equivalent (desirable);
Understanding of project management processes and methodology. (i.e., inductions, project reports, inspection test plans, travel and accommodation and general site administration support); and

Advanced skills and experience in using the MS Office Suite including Word; Excel; Visio and PowerPoint

Intrastate and Interstate travel and working outside ordinary hours will be required from time to time on an ad - hoc basis.
