We are looking for an advisor to join our team who is results focused and a strong business partner.

The successful applicant will play an important role in driving our business health and safety culture,aligned to our overall vision that no one should get hurt at work, through the provision of practical advice to support our people and our operations.


The Role

  • Provide advice to mitigate health, safety and security risks across editorial and corporate operations.
  • Partner with business representatives to enable the delivery of health and safety program initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain positive and constructive relationships with business stakeholders.
  • Advise senior business leaders on trends and performance through regular reporting and analysis.
  • Support business operations including editorial field assignments, photographic, broadcast operations, drone usage, international travel, high profile events, driving,.
  • Manage relationships and service levels with third party service providers.

Who are you?

  • Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety.
  • Demonstrated experience in safety risk management in a media, events management or corporate services environment.
  • You are able to work as part of a large team in a large organisation.
  • Outstanding communications skills and an ability to influence whilst remaining empathetic.
  • A natural collaborator and a true HSS business partner.
  • Selfmotivated with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Ability to work from multiple locations and the flexibility to travel interstate when required.
