Are you a skilled and dynamic Podiatrist ready to take your career to the next level? We have an exciting opportunity for a Podiatrist Level 4 Head of Department to join our team.

This opportunity arises as we enter a new phase of growth, development, and positive transformation within the Podiatry service.

Selection Criteria:


  • Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent's Health Australia
  • Recognised degree in podiatry and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a podiatrist, and has a current unrestricted NSW Driver's Licence
  • Extensive post graduate clinical experience in both acute and community settings
  • Demonstrated specialist clinical knowledge and skills in wound management, orthotic therapy, offloading modalities including casting and high risk foot care (including diabetes high risk foot care).
  • Demonstrated experience managing a department operationally and supervising staff, including managing staff conflict and team performance.
  • Demonstrated leadership in the planning, implementation and evaluation of local service delivery incorporating quality improvement methodologies.
  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills, computer literacy and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to research and /or evidence based practice and experience implementing evidence based practice into service planning and evaluation of service changes
