We are focused on expansion of both our product range and our manufacturing capacity, which presents a great opportunity for a qualified Die Setter on Afternoon shift to join our team based at our Adelaide manufacturing operations in North Plympton.


About the Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Review schedules, prepare tooling/machine and other equipment accordingly to undertake a die change
  • Conduct Die changes and insert changes as per schedules
  • Setup and monitor moulding processes as per setups sheets and BOM's or other work instructions
  • Participate in Problem Solving initiatives
  • Conduct materials handling where required to complete a task
  • Undertake and complete all required documentation pre and post Die change

About you
You must be a qualified and experienced Die Setter with strong communication and teamwork skills. you will be a forward thinker, innovative in your approach and

comfortable in an ever-changing environment. Most importantly, you will possess a can-do attitude, be self motivated and achievement oriented.

The attributes you will bring to this role:

  • Recognised qualification(s) in Die-Setting/troubleshooting and/or Die-Trialling, or equivalent. Minimum qualification at Certificate III level preferable
  • Experience in the plastics industry within the manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Excellent understanding of polymer materials
  • Demonstrated commitment to supporting the highest quality and safety standards
  • Willingness to learn and undertake tasks, training and projects
  • Proven contribution to continuous improvement activities
  • Expert problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work unsupervised as well as within a team
  • Creative, resourceful and flexible, able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
