We are focused on expansion of both our product range and our manufacturing capacity, which presents a great opportunity for a qualified Die Setter on Afternoon shift to join our team based at our Adelaide manufacturing operations in North Plympton.

About the Role

Key responsibilities include:

Review schedules, prepare tooling/machine and other equipment accordingly to undertake a die change
Conduct Die changes and insert changes as per schedules
Setup and monitor moulding processes as per setups sheets and BOM's or other work instructions
Participate in Problem Solving initiatives
Conduct materials handling where required to complete a task
Undertake and complete all required documentation pre and post Die change

About you
You must be a qualified and experienced Die Setter with strong communication and teamwork skills. you will be a forward thinker, innovative in your approach and

comfortable in an ever-changing environment. Most importantly, you will possess a can-do attitude, be self motivated and achievement oriented.

The attributes you will bring to this role:

Recognised qualification(s) in Die-Setting/troubleshooting and/or Die-Trialling, or equivalent. Minimum qualification at Certificate III level preferable
Experience in the plastics industry within the manufacturing environment is preferred
Excellent understanding of polymer materials
Demonstrated commitment to supporting the highest quality and safety standards
Willingness to learn and undertake tasks, training and projects
Proven contribution to continuous improvement activities
Expert problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work unsupervised as well as within a team
Creative, resourceful and flexible, able to adapt to changing priorities
Strong mechanical aptitude
