About the role
This role will lead Sydney Water's asset management capability to ensure assets deliver on customer service expectations by balancing cost, risk and performance.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop a transformational asset management strategy that delivers on the strategic outcomes
- Implement the asset management strategy into action by collaborating across the business, building asset management capabilities and competencies.
- Colead and contribute to development, integration and implementation of relevant Management Systems for Asset Management.
- Develop, manage and utilise improved processes and tools to support the decisionmaking processes through the value chain
- Facilitate change throughout the organisation to create an uplift in asset management capability
- Define, develop, champion, review and assure the long, medium and short term corporate outcomes are delivered through Asset Management Policy and Strategic Asset Management Plan
About you
You will have:
- Bachelor's qualifications in engineering, science or a related discipline, or experience deemed equivalent, with demonstrated experience and skills in development and implementation of strategic asset management frameworks
- Demonstrated experience in senior strategic asset management role, couple with risk management, financial and economic analysis and using/developing related tools in decision making
- Demonstrated Experience across relevant products/asset classes and integrated water cycle management
- Advanced skills and demonstrated ability to interact, build relationships, influence and drive change at all levels, both internal and external to the Organisation.
- Demonstrated experience in asset management implementation through change management practices
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills at all levels, both internal and external to the organisations, with the ability to establish a high degree of credibility.
- Team leadership experience and demonstration in forming and leading high performing teams in a positive and constructive environment.
- Strong knowledge of Sydney Water's operating and regulatory environment and implications on corporate strategy and objectives.
