$97,080-$109,271 (based on experience) plus 11% Superannuation

  • How this position will Make the Difference to City of MelbourneThe Property, Infrastructure and Design Division is responsible for leading an integrated approach to city design, project delivery and the ongoing management of infrastructure in the municipality of Melbourne.

The Division plays a major role in shaping the city by ensuring that the public realm and community facilities remain places for all people to live, learn, work and prosper in a high quality, high amenity, sustainable urban environment.-The Urban Designer will work in a dynamic multidisciplinary team of architects, landscape architects, urban designers and industrial designers.

To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated experience in urban design, be a great communicator, and have experience in stakeholder engagement, problem solving, and project management.

You will be confident in making logical, informed and supportable urban design decisions and exercise discretion in the delivery of projects.

  • Demonstrated experience and ability in implementing the design process.
  • Ability to effectively work and communicate with others to solve problems.
