With offices nationally, GT Insurance is a diversified underwriting agency providing tailored insurance solutions to the Australian commercial motor market. Together with Allianz Marine & Transit, we are a specialist in motor and marine and have your vehicles and the goods they carry, covered with an award-winning claims service.


This permanent role reports to the General Manager, Underwriting & Technical Services and will be responsible for building and maintaining our technical monitoring suite to help the team steer our portfolio to meet our goals.

The role provides opportunity to go one step further and drive action from the insights produced.


What will the role involve:


  • Taking ownership of data quality, report development and improvement, and creating & delivering of dashboards that support decisionmaking in the business.
  • Providing regular reporting and analysis including documentation and presentation of results, to assist management with the steering of the portfolio.
  • Supporting the team in developing and maintaining portfolio steering processes and tools.
  • Supporting the maintenance, continuous improvement, and further development of GT Pricing Tools.
  • Monitor insurance and industry trends to identify opportunities and areas of profitable growth.
  • Contribute to the delivery of Technical Excellence initiatives and projects in the business.

What you bring to the role:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Datadriven and innovationminded, you can implement new digital ways of working.
  • Clear and effective communication, you can adapt your style to the audience.
  • Previous experience in pricing, analysis, and/or portfolio management.
  • Technical skills and experience in customer and market research.
  • General Insurance and industry knowledge preferred.
