    Come work with one of Australia's largest owned banks With a core focus on Australian customers and communities. Designed for the people by the people They are based in Sydney CBD 2000 with hybrid working of 2 days in office. Salary $160,000 - $170,000 package

    Role: As the Applications Technical Lead you will a pivotal role in driving the success of Customer and Enterprise Platforms. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and strategic decision-making, ensuring alignment with platform and organizational strategies. Collaborate with business and technology leaders, shape change initiatives, and contribute a design mindset to evolve technology best practices. Work across a number of customer-facing and in-house platforms providing critical technical advice and support for business stakeholders.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with Solution Architects to analyse technical requirements and develop designs aligned with technology risk and cyber controls.
    • Define and embed engineering practices within the platform team.
    • Act as a subject matter expert on technical issues, driving strategic alignment.
    • Lead continuous improvement activities and mentor team members.
    • Coordinate platform response for major incidents and review third-party vendor designs.

    Your Experience:

    • 8+ Years IT experience working across business applications
    • Experience working with ServiceNow or D365 is a must
    • Strong technical background across software development, Database or support
    • Experience with Integration - API's Microservices
    • Experience with various technical domains, including ticketing tools and back-end systems
    • Strong communication skills, translating complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
    • Understanding of software design principles and experience with Agile, CI/CD Pipelines, and emerging technologies
    • Solid knowledge of technology concepts such as client-server, SOA architecture, and relational databases.
    • Experience with Enterprise or Customer-facing technologies highly considered
