About The Job
AHRI's volunteers (who are HR professionals and members of AHRI) provide significant value to the organisation and its members.

As the Stakeholder Engagement Manager, you will develop and execute an engagement strategy to uplift and promote interactions with volunteers who participate in every State.

This role is the central point of contact for volunteers and will manage one direct report.


The successful Applicant Will have a positive demeanour and love engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders. You will have an understanding and appreciation for professionals who offer their time as volunteers and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. You will be a natural influencer who can engage, present, be diplomatic and resilient whilst being outcomes-driven and managing competing deadlines.


Duties

  • Create and execute a communication and engagement strategy to strengthen the sense of belonging for volunteers within the AHRI community
  • Be the central point of contact for volunteers
  • Manage budgets with State Councils and measure the success of the activities' ROI
  • Review, develop and implement volunteer processes including State Council elections
  • Support local and statebased member engagement activities and events
  • Ensure support and resources are provided to volunteers whilst managing the expectations of volunteers and internal departments
  • Create and maintain volunteer resources, presentations, guides and howto handbooks
  • Review and implement best practice onboarding processes for new volunteers
  • Implement a meaningful volunteer recognition program

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience within a peak body or member association, ideally within a membership, volunteer or stakeholder engagement role
  • Experience monitoring and evaluating volunteer or engagement programs
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A consultative approach, with the ability to make decisions and drive results
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
