The Digital Product Owner will play a critical role in the implementation and execution of Marsh's largest and most impactful transformation to date.

Reporting through the Digital Products team within the Global Transformation Office, you will successfully shape and deliver Marsh's most significant, large scale, complex programs against the global strategic transformation and change agenda.

Serving within Operations & Technology, you will be responsible for the delivery of the Operational Excellence (OpEx) transformation program and its related priorities within the Pacific region.

We will count on you to:

  • Understand strategic opportunities and executive priorities to inform the digital product strategy and vision
  • Manage regional digital products and services endtoend, from conception to launch and scale, in coordination with delivery partners
  • Conduct product discovery exercises to understand enduser needs and generate demand and product ideas
  • Lead product workshops, including product demos for endusers, stakeholders, sponsors, and other interested parties
  • Engage with users to gather feedback on enhancements, platform maturity, and value
  • Formalize efforts to gather needs, wants, and requirements from product endusers
  • Document prototype requirements using sketches, diagrams, and wireframes
  • Document product features and user stories for inclusion in sprints
  • Convert highlevel business requirements and use cases into detailed functional specifications and user stories
  • Facilitate the creation of UX wireframes for interaction and screen design
  • Partner with colleagues in UX and Design to ensure delivered product experiences are userfriendly and scalable
  • Contribute to the development of a detailed and robust product/feature roadmap
  • Coordinate the implementation of the product/features
  • Ensure delivery and traceability of business requirements
  • Provide clarity on requirements during the implementation stage
  • Collaborate with the global Digital Product community to ensure cohesion and usability of the solutions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with delivery partners, including business analysts, IT architects, development and testing teams, change management, project management, and stakeholders from various business, operations, and technology areas
  • Collaborate closely with developers on delivery and scrum masters on addressing impediments
  • Optimize the value delivered by the team by prioritizing the backlog of work based on enduser needs and business objectives
  • Continuously refine and groom the backlog
  • Maintain a product tracker for internal reporting, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly updates
  • Participate in weekly, monthly, and quarterly update calls
  • Perform UAT testing
  • Coordinate UAT with the business for signoff
  • Serve as a communication liaison for stakeholders, sponsors, and leadership, providing status updates and promoting the benefits of digital products.
  • Conduct regular work stream meetings, document actions and risks, and escalate as necessary
  • Proactively communicate risks, dependencies, and changes to stakeholders, sponsors, and users
**What you need to have: - Demonstrable experience as a Product/Process Owner within a Digital Products Organization or related competency

  • Demonstrate competency in working on digital products or software solution with measurable business results
  • Strong underlying domain experience that includes but not limited to Insurance, Markets, Risk, Management, Economics, etc.
  • Familiar with Product Owner function and its key activities
  • Demonstrate competency using digital products and solutions to meet business goals, enact organizational change, or realize commercial opportunities
  • Success delivering midscale products, programs, and other initiatives
  • Demonstrate competency generating business value in an environment of resource and time constraints
  • Demonstrate competency in setting and me
