The Opportunity:

We have a permanent full-time opportunity working Monday to Friday 9am-5pm for a Pharmacy Admin Technician to join our Slade Pharmacy team at our state-of-the-art facility in Mount Kuring-Gai.

You will be based in the office where you will provide efficient and effective support to our pharmacy team. Comprehensive training will be offered.

Key responsibilities:

Management of and dispensing prescriptions for allocated hospitals and clinics
PBS prescription processing under the supervision of pharmacist
Liaising with health professionals when required
Support the patient account process and dealing with account enquiries and payments

About you:

This is not a pharmacy technician role in the traditional sense, so your experience in administration and clerical work will be equally well regarded
This is an office based role with a large clerical component so you will be confident in the use of the Office 365 suite
You will have the ability to focus and concentrate for significant periods given the exacting nature of the role
You will be prepared to visit and liaise with our customer clinics where required using the pharmacy vehicle.
