Position Overview:

Are you an efficient and detail-oriented individual with a passion for providing exceptional administrative support? We are seeking a dedicated Business Support Officer to join our team and work closely with the Manager to establish, monitor, and report on administrative and management systems and processes for the Department.

As a Business Support Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of departmental objectives, targets, and key performance measures in alignment with Council's planning framework and annual business plan.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Maintain and update information systems to ensure accurate and current data.
  • Collaborate with the team to review and improve administration systems for continuous enhancement of administrative practices.
  • Assist in managing appointments and bookings efficiently.
  • Ensure prompt collection and distribution of correspondence to facilitate smooth communication.
  • Manage diaries and office operations to maximize productivity.
  • Maintain and update Key Registers to ensure accurate records of essential information.
  • Accurately enter and retrieve data to support decisionmaking processes.
  • Organize and maintain records for easy accessibility and reference.
  • Coordinate stationery and supply orders to ensure wellequipped workspaces.
  • Assist with invoicing as required, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications:


  • Postyear 12 qualifications in business management, office administration, or a related field OR significant demonstrable "on the job" experience in a similar role.
  • Relevant experience in a customer servicefocused industry, showcasing your ability to handle various stakeholders with professionalism and empathy.
  • Qualification in business management, administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Knowledge of Sharikat, Pathway & Building maintenance request systems is an advantage.
  • Possession of a current Victorian driver's license to facilitate travel as needed.
