Anglicare Children's Services are leading providers of high quality education and care, by providing support and loving service to children and families, particularly those most in need within our community.

Goulburn Early Childhood Centre is a not-for-profit early learning service operated by Anglicare (NSW South, NSW West & ACT).


Our program operates between the hours of 7:30am and 6:00pm weekdays (excluding NSW public holidays and a 2 week shut down over the Christmas & New Year period).


We have casual positions available, and we are seeking Educators to provide a high standard of education and care to children, and to support the team to implement contemporary education programs that reflect the principles and practices of the Early Years Learning Framework, in line with the National Quality Standard.


The Role

  • Ensure children are adequately supervised at all times.
  • Actively support every child to participate in the program.
  • Ensure self and children effectively utilise health and hygiene practices.
  • Ensure that every reasonable precaution is taken to protect children from harm and any hazard likely to cause injury.
  • Follows all risk management plans, policies and procedures.

To be successful, you will have:

  • Ability to engage children in activities which are appropriate to their interests and abilities.
  • Ability to develop appropriate and sustained relationships with children.
  • Demonstrated awareness of the rights of the child.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with parents, children, colleagues and other stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated awareness of mandatory reporting obligations.
  • Ability to follow directions and undertake tasks at all levels.
  • Ability to understand and work within set policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Possess the personal attributes of optimism, resilience and flexibility.
  • Understanding of work health and safety responsibilities.

  • Applicants will be required to undertake the psychometric profiling instrument and must obtain a Working With Children clearance through the Office of the Children's Guardian (NSW) and undergo a National Criminal History Check prior to an offer of employment.
