Accounts Payable Officer

  • Based at Macquarie Park, short walk from Metro Station + WFH options

Catholic Healthcare has a new opportunity for a driven and results orientated Accounts Payable Officer with excellent customer service and communication skills to join the team.


The purpose of this role is to administer the accounts payable ledger, ensuring that expenditure is promptly and accurately recorded whilst maintaining financial process controls.

Supporting the organisation with financial, administrative, and clerical support to ensure adherence to vendor payment terms.


Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing consistent, timely and accurate delivery of accounts payable services
  • Contribute to the operation and integrity of the accounts payable system and ensure accounts payable functions are delivered effectively and efficiently
  • Process & validate invoices in Basware
  • Handling of creditor's enquiries, responding in a prompt & professional manner
  • Undertake a range of operational activities associated with accounts payable including: providing advice to internal and external customers, monthly reconciliations and other relevant duties as required
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience within a highvolume accounts payable team;
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Excel & various ERP Software including Basware, Procura
  • Demonstrated experience with accounts payable workflow processes
  • Relevant experience in Aged Care industry will be highly regarded;
  • Strong customer service focus & ability to work as part of a team
  • Related tertiary qualification, highly desirable
  • Ability to provide evidence of Covid Immunisations
