Our client is currently seeking an experienced CRVSPO L3 ILSM to support the LAND 400 Phase 2, as part of the Land Combat Vehicle System (LCVS) Program.
The ILSM will work directly with the Project Director, supporting the effective and efficient development, implementation, and ongoing management of the LAND 400 Phase 2 Support System within Defence.
Deliverables:
- Liaise with internal stakeholders on the design and execution of the LAND400 Phase 2 Support System.
- Provide specialist logistic advice to assist the Project Director in delivering the LAND 400 Phase 2 Acquisition and Support Contract.
- Provide strategic logistic input into broader Defence initiatives which support the achievement of the LAND 400 Phase 2 project.
- Manage the review of Acquisition and Sustainment ILS deliverables.
- Manage and lead the ILS requirements in Mandated System Reviews, Defence workshops and any relevant OEM onsite inspections.
- Manage the development of ILS plans, Integrated Logistics Support Instructions and project schedule and risk management registers.
- Manage relationship with prime Contractor ILS teams.
- Develop updates and briefing packs for the Project Director.
Essential Criteria:
- A significant record of achievement in leading Major Complex Acquisition Projects.
- Experience in the Logistics Management function, leading high performing teams, managing workloads and effective prioritisation to meet Project schedules and risk management registers.
- High level of demonstrated experience in Defence logistics.
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to liaise with various stakeholders in relation to complex issues and ability to present at major Contractor's meetings and reviews.
- Experience in senior stakeholder management and small team leadership.
- A team leader who values teamwork and performs well with a diverse and integrated environment.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience in Defence ASDEFCON Contracting templates.
- Prior experience in Defence Capability & Sustainment Group and/or experience in support of Defence within industry.
