Lawyer/Claims Manager In House - Insurance

  • Utilise or further develop your experience in Insurance Claims

  • Experienced Insurance Lawyers with several years OR junior lawyers with 12 years pae seeking supervised training will be considered

The role
This is a unique opportunity with a small but close knit Insurance team.

You will be trained and mentored by an experienced practitioner with excellent ability to train and lead.

You will be working in a fast paced, growing and supportive group.

You can expect your duties to include:
Managing a Special Issue Claims portfolio from lodgement to finalisation of each claim- Working with clients throughout the period of their claim, providing exceptional levels of customer service

  • Ensuring each claim complies with all legislation and regulatory requirements
  • Working with third party panels, lawyers and barristers throughout the claim process

You


To succeed in this role you will have some experience in defendant related personal injury insurance litigation (plaintiff will also be considered) with an understanding of processing Insurance claims.

In addition we require the incumbent to have excellent organisational and communication skills, with a genuinely empathetic and caring manner.

You will be able to hit the ground running in Insurance claims and have a strong grip on the typical everyday tasks such as using Microsoft suite, meeting multiple deadlines and customer service.
