About the opportunity


This is an exciting permanent, full-time opportunity for a suitably qualified professional to provide efficient and effective help desk support for Blacktown City Council's Electronic Document Management System and record keeping practices.

Qualifications and experience

Essential:


  • Certificate III in Records Management or Information Technology
  • High level computer literacy and ability to use a range of software products
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Records Management business rules, procedures, practices and policy
  • System administrator knowledge of EDMS
  • HPE CM
  • Demonstrated confidence around troubleshooting, issue resolve and business development / improvement to support end users in the use of Councils EDMS Content Management (CM9)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the NSW State Records Act 1998, associated standards and other relevant legislation
  • Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Professional and courteous approach.

Desirable:


  • Strong customer service focus and experience
  • Local government experience in a records management environment.

Remuneration and benefits
The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council's Enterprise Agreement.

  • Entry level for this position starts at $1,308.84 per week
  • 35hour working week
  • Opportunity to participate in Council's flextime arrangement
