About the Role
We have a new opportunity for a motivated, experienced Maintenance Technician with an Industrial Electrician background to join our supportive and friendly team.
Key Responsibilities
This Maintenance Technician role is supporting our customer site based at
Northmead, NSW . In this role you are required to work
Sunday to Friday - Night Shift 10.00 pm am.
30% night shift loading and double time sunday, not much overtime offered, though there may be some possible shift coverage and some potential weekend work offered at times if required.
The role is permanent full time and will give you a good exposure to a number of systems and technologies.
You will be servicing clients' equipment in accordance with project and service agreements, whilst also identifying opportunities for improvement in the manufacture or performance of systems and products.

What we are looking for
Essential:
-
Australian Trade qualification with Certificate III
- Electrotechnology Electrician
An Australian Unrestricted Electrical Licence
- Reasonable understanding of mechanical aptitude and maintenance in previous roles
- Understanding of OH&S requirements and safe work behaviour
- Ability to work in isolation and make decisions
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to develop and maintain effective ongoing relationships with customers
Highly Regarded:
- Any PLC experience (we can provide training on Siemens S7 and SCADA systems)
- Experience with maintaining mechanical and pneumatic systems
- Computerised maintenance systems experience (MEX)
- Experience with automation (conveyors and sortation systems)
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
