About the role


In this position, you manage the timely resolution of assigned exceptions to enable the issue of accurate bills to customers.

Lead a team responsible for all aspects of the delivery of exception resolution contract(s).

The role is built up out of two elements contract management and business management.

  • Contract Management_
  • Manage contracts to resolve SAP customer relationship and billing system related exceptions.
  • Manage contracts to measure and report on quality assurance.
  • Ensure forecasts are issued to contractors to facilitate planning.
  • Prepare and update contract management plans for each contract.
  • Respond to contractrelated issues in a timely and commercially sound manner.
  • Ensure contract payments in line with policies, procedures and approved budgets.
  • Build and maintain positive and professional relationship with contractors.
  • Business Management_
  • Monitor internal and external IT systems to ensure that data quality meets contract requirements and business targets.
  • Review, analyse and improve business processes to eliminate rework and ensure compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the timely resolution of information and system issues and concerns.
  • Manage fair distribution of workloads to deliver high quality products and services across the business.
  • Monitor expenditure, approved budget and prepare business cases as required.
  • Define business process requirements for any proposed system enhancements to exception resolution systems.
  • Monitor effectiveness of exception resolution standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Manage the revision of existing and development of new exception resolution SOPs.

About you

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or relevant contract management and/or SAP customer relationship and billing (CR&B) system user experience.
  • Proven knowledge and understanding of SAP CR&B system exception resolution procedures.
  • Proven highlevel analytical, forecasting and contract performance monitoring skills using information systems.
  • Proven highlevel conflict resolution, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to conduct risk assessments, understand budgetary processes and prepare business submissions.
  • Highlevel coaching, mentoring and people management skills, including managing teams through change.
