The Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Management and updating of feasibilities as the development and delivery stages progress.
  • Taking ownership of planning outcomes or amendments ensuring all regulations are adhered to.
  • Value management activities associated with reviewing finalised designs.
  • Ensuring consultants are carefully managed to deliver appropriate outcomes.
  • Preparation of tender/contract documentation, ensuring that the risk profile is minimised;
  • Management of the delivery process, including oversight of external Project Managers as required.
  • Assisting in project completion and settlement process including coordinating defects.

Requirements:


This role is best suited to an individual who is currently an established Development Manager with land experience, but seeking a role where they will be able to gain exposure to medium density developments.


Ideally, you'll have development experience working on either land/community or larger scale townhouse developments (where you've been responsible for the subdivision/civil works), have a good knowledge of how feasibilities come together and possess the ability to manipulate them, be well versed in planning and know how to manage the approvals process with consultants and authorities, have experience in the design and value management process, have an in depth understanding of the tendering and delivery processes, and possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
