About The Role

What You'll Do

Develop and implement effective inventory planning strategies to meet production and operational requirements.
Conduct regular analyses of inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimise stock levels.
Collaborate with the procurement team and various site stakeholders to ensure correct inventory levels are maintained in order to support maintenance and production functions.
Implement and maintain inventory control policies and procedures.
Conduct regular reconciliations and audits to ensure data accuracy.
Address discrepancies and implement corrective actions to prevent inventory issues.
Explore and implement new technologies to improve inventory tracking and reporting.
Work closely with warehouse, production, and procurement teams to coordinate inventory movements and optimise processes.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the inventory function.
Implement best practices and benchmarks for inventory management.

What You'll Bring

Relevant tertiary qualifications.
Proven experience in inventory analysis, preferably in the mining or heavy industry sector.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with an attention to detail.
Proficiency in SAP and familiarity with Pulse Mining or similar industryspecific ERP systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams.
