The Role
This Australian B2B Wholesaler is opening up a Queensland based warehouse in Chermside.
The role will report directly into the National Operations Manager who is based in Sydney and be responsible for helping to set up then manage a small warehouse facility.
- Facilitate the setup of the racking system and transfer of inventory from Sydney to Queensland.
- Recruit a team of 34 warehouse workers and manage the team to ensure speed to market and ensure stock is in the right place at the right time.
- Control inventory levels by conducting physical cycle counts and ensure stock control systems are up to date
- Lead a small production team responsible for printing and cutting product to client specifications
- Previous warehouse management experience or a supervisor looking to step up
- Understanding of WMS and ERP systems (ideally Pronto).
- Knowledge of WHS systems/processes in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to work autonomously reporting into a remote Senior Manager.
- This will be a handson role as the first employer in Queensland
- Forklift licence
