About the role


The Specialist Outpatient Clinics currently has a vacancy for a fixed term part time position for an experienced Data and Training Supervisor to join the team at Ballarat Health Services.


You will be responsible for the training of our Administration Officers and Administration Clerks to ensure high quality data management as well as have oversight of data remediation to repair errors in data capture within Specialist Outpatient Clinics.


Key Responsibilities

  • Education and training of Administration staff to ensure smooth operation and accurate completion of activities within expected timeframes and agreed standards.
  • Plan/develop/implement strategies to improve data capture, in consultation with the Nurse Unit Manager and Clinic Administrator.
  • Assist with the recruitment of Administration staff.

Skills and Experience

  • You will need to be familiar with all aspects of VINAH and MBS data requirements and have a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Your communication and interpersonal skills will be of the highest standard.
  • High quality computer skills are essential for this role, with particular emphasis on accurate data entry.
