Your technical responsibilities to the role: You will be responsible for managing high quality risk compliance and investigations procedures within the Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages.

Identify, analyse and escalate noncompliance and risk and work with operational units to develop and implement corrective actions and risk treatments.
Research, develop and deliver current compliance, fraud, risk and security awareness training to all RBDM staff in consultation with law enforcement agencies and other stakeholders responsible for Australia's national security.
Work with Managers to develop comprehensive policies, procedures, templates and reporting mechanisms for all compliance, fraud, risk and security related information across RBDM.
Prepare reports for the Registry management with recommendations for compliance enhancements, fraud and risk mitigation and security awareness.
Build and sustain relationships, liaising with a range of internal and external stakeholders including other government agencies and the private sector to create opportunities and improvements to service delivery and fraud prevention capabilities.
Work as directed to assist the Policy and Compliance team to manage correspondence and records and respond to matters escalated by other business units.
