About the Opportunity
ASC is seeking multiple Project professionals to support the LOTE program (Life Of Type Extension), with Permanent roles being available for the below:

  • Assistant Project Managers
  • Project Managers
  • Senior Project Manager


These roles will be responsible for delivering detailed project management and support activities required during all phases of the project lifecycle and the supervision and coordination of assigned Project Engineers and Administrators.

Roles are available for various areas, such as Engineering Design, Implementation Planning and Support System Implementation.


Responsibilities:


  • Management of one or more project areas within the overall LOTE program.
  • Development and maintenance of baseline schedules
  • Budget and cost management, including EVM and variance analysis/treatment
  • Risk management
  • Reporting and communication
  • Line management responsibility for up to 2 direct reports.

About you

  • Tertiary qualifications in a technical or project management discipline or equivalent experience in a systems engineering, naval construction or complex asset management/ development environment.
  • Experience in Defence Design projects
  • Demonstrable high level verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrable practical knowledge of Scheduling, Earned Value Management, financial, stakeholder and personnel management as applicable to a complex project environment
  • Minimum of five years' experience in a complex project environment at a Project Engineer level (or equivalent).

Eligibility
This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
