About the Role:

This is a Permanent Full Time role within the ICT department at The RCH.

As the Team Lead Clinical Applications, you will be responsible for managing the development, implementation, and ongoing support of RCH's Clinical Applications (e.g., IBA, PACS, EMR) in alignment with the RCH Digital vision and strategies.

You will ensure the delivery of high-quality and efficient Clinical Applications to contribute to exceptional patient care.


What You'll Achieve:


  • You will provide strategic direction and vision for the Clinical Applications team, aligning their efforts with the overall RCH Digital vision and strategies.
  • You will oversee the development and implementation of project plans for new Clinical Applications or updates to existing ones, ensuring they meet the needs of the healthcare professionals and contribute to exceptional patient care.
  • You will inspire and motivate the Clinical Applications team, promoting a shared sense of purpose and commitment to delivering highquality services.
  • You will Identify areas for improvement in processes, workflows, and system configurations, and lead initiatives to optimise and streamline operations.

Your Skills and Experience:


  • Substantial experience of managing stakeholders at different levels within an organisation with the ability to listen and understand, build trust, establish relationships, negotiate and influence outcomes
  • Experience of working in Business Analysis and Service Management
  • A good understanding of the technologies used in the health sector (EMR, medical machinery, patient booking systems, etc.)
