We are partnered with one of Australia's largest reinsurance companies. We are looking for Data Operations Analyst on a 2-year fixed term contract.


The Role


The Data Operations Analyst is required to undertake work associated with the Customer Data Management international (CDMi) ingestion acceleration project.

The role involves interpretation of reinsurance treaty terms and conditions in conjunction with various reinsurance data sets in order to produce business requirements necessary for CDMi ingestion.

Further, the Data Operations Analyst is required to implement and maintain appropriate CDMi mapping.


The position is a 2-year contract working closely with Reinsurance Specialists, the Project Team and IT to complete on-boarding of prioritised reinsurance treaties onto CDMi.


Some of your responsibilities include:

  • Interpreting and analysing various data sets
  • Producing and presenting business requirements documentation for review and sign off
  • Implementing and maintaining appropriate CDMi mappings
  • Liaising with administration teams, the project team, actuaries and the business development team
  • 23 years insurance experience in data would be ideal, data experience outside insurance but within financial services are also welcome
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills there is an excel test required for the role
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills experience with stakeholder management is advantageous
  • Finance related degree preferred but not essential

The client can offer you a platform to expand data experience and have an exposure in reinsurance. The role is a 2-year fixed-term contract with a 10% bonus (depending on performance).
