Are you a Registered Nurse with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, looking to step into more of a leadership role? Knox Private Hospital is looking for Associate Nurse Unit Manager in our Cardiac (Miller) ward.

Located in Wantirna,
Knox Private Hospital is a fully accredited tertiary facility with 295 beds, providing Emergency Services, Extensive Surgical Specialities, 20 bed ICU/CCU, Medical, and a full range of Cardiac Services including two 24-hour Cardiac Catheter Laboratories and Cardiac surgery.
Our Miller ward is a 10 Bed, standalone Intensive Care Unit has a highly skilled team caring for patients with acute surgical, cardiac and medical procedures and conditions.
As a ANUM - Cardiac your responsibilities will include:
- Facilitate a learning culture to ensure continuous improvement
- Maintain professional and constructive working relationships with our VMO partners, using a customer service mindset, to enable high quality patient outcomes.
- Provide clinical operational direction for the unit to ensure efficient and effective management by coordinating the delivery of nursing care that is evidence based.
- Be accountable and responsible for the effective daily management of human, financial and material resources
- Coordinate and drive clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives
- Undertaking direct patient care, as required
Selection Criteria:
- Current Registration with AHPRA
- Working with Children check (if relevant)
- 5+ years cardiac experience is preferred
- Current or previous ANUM or clinical nurse specialist experience (desirable)
- Sound clinical knowledge
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills
- Positive role modelling behaviours
- Excellent customer service focus, time management and prioritisation

- If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the "Healthscope Victoria
- Nurses' and Midwives' Enterprise Agreement " (salaries range between $51.77 to $53.50 per hour)._
