O'Brien Electrical and Plumbing Coopers Plains provide a range of electrical, plumbing, gas-fitting and drainage services for their numerous clients. We have been in business in South East Queensland for over 25 years.


About the Role...
You will provide administrative support to all parts of the business, in particular our electrical team.

You need to have had recent experience in admin including accounts receivable/payable & scheduling.

You need to have excellent phone skills with the ability to liaise with potential clients and field staff.


The job is a part time position and based in our office in Coopers Plains.

Preferred work hours: 8am - 1pm Monday - Friday

Experience in the following:

  • Administration in a trade based maintenance business an advantage
  • Scheduling and allocating jobs to multi field staff
  • Accounts Receivable / Payable
  • Simpro or similar scheduling package
  • Xero or similar
  • WHS Monitor or similar
  • Microsoft Office in particular Excel
  • Knowledge of the electrical / plumbing industry an advantage
  • Good knowledge of Brisbane suburbs
  • Excellent telephone skills
  • General office duties photocopying, printing, scanning, filing
  • Exceptional organisational skills
  • Excellent written & verbal skills
  • Strong Customer Service focus
  • Ability to work efficiently & multitask under pressure
  • Microsoft Office skills
  • Accurate data entry skills
  • Competency in learning new systems
