Job Description:


To supervise, lead and coordinate the Reports Production & Quality team to ensure the accuracy and quality of medical reports.


To deliver the effective provision of timely, independent and legally accurate medical assessments and advice to Next Health customers that meets the quality standards as set by the organisation and customer.


  • Lead the RPQ team which is responsible for undertaking the production and quality reviews of medical reports.
  • Provide oversight and technical support to a team of enthusiastic and driven individuals.
  • Be a point of escalation for the RPQ team, consultant or customer for any issues or concerns arising.
  • Maintain and regularly review the standard of quality reports produced.
  • Develop, review and update the various policies, processes, procedures and tools associated with the defined quality framework.
  • Ensure quality processes are up to date with current customer and legislative requirements and effectively communicate to the RPQ team and consultants.
  • Manage corrective action, process improvement and auditing projects.
  • Coordinate the training of RPQ team and consultants.
  • Management of medical report feedback.
  • Maintain the high standard and reputation of Next Health, as a competitive market leader in the WA/NT market.
  • Assist with initiatives driven by Next Health and the MedHealth Group.
  • Establish and maintain effective and robust relationships with all medical consultants, customers and team members to ensure the delivery of excellence in quality and service.
  • Provide training and development support to new and existing team members and to consultants.
  • Actively identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain a customer focus at all times and a commitment to deliver service excellence.
  • Function as an effective, positive team member.
  • Maintain active knowledge of work health and safety practices and procedures.
  • Adhere to all policy and procedures.
  • Carry out other reasonable duties as required.
  • Ensure the delivery of excellence in quality and customer service to customers, consultants and key stakeholders at all times.
  • Ensure workload is prioritised effectively to meet Next Health, consultant and customer requirements and SLA's.
  • Use system to optimise workflow efficiency.
  • Ensure all reports are quality checked and finalised as per approved consultant, customer and Next Health guidelines.
  • Effectively communicate to Next Health team members, customers and consultants possible delays in report turnaround times.
  • Ensure the RPQ team deliver expected number of reports per week to meet financial targets.
  • Achieve overall 98% accuracy rate on delivery of all reports.
  • Ensure the efficient onboarding of all new RPQ team members, including induction and operational briefing.

Qualifications:


  • Experience in understanding practices relating to independent medical reports within a personal injury and/or accident compensation setting.
  • Experience in coordinating and delivering a range of high quality, customerfocused business administration support.
  • Experience with accurately formulating Permanent Impairment assessments.
  • Ability to effectively assist challenging consultants, customers, clients or visitors.
  • Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
