Parks Victoria are looking for a Ranger Team Leader Fire & Emergency Operations to lead a passionate team of Fire Fighters in the prevention and suppression of bushfires including fuel management works across a large and complex footprint across the Goldfields area.

    About the role


The Ranger Team Leader (Fire & Emergency) will lead a team of fire fighters and coordinate the recruitment, development and wellbeing of district fire and emergency staff, assisting program coordination to deliver high quality services in line with the Regional Operations Plan, with support and under the direction of the Ranger in Charge (RIC).

The position will work as a key member of the Fire & Emergency team in planning, coordinating and delivering fire preparation, readiness and response, while also coordinating works with the wider District teams and assisting with delivery of District programs and projects.

About Parks Victoria
The Operations Division is responsible for the service delivery of initiatives, programs, and services.

On-ground works and services will conserve environments, protect culture and heritage, manage visitor facilities and improve opportunities and support fire and emergency management.

The Regional resources will support environmental, social and economic outcomes for rural, regional and urban communities.

Service delivery is managed and delivered within the demands of the Divisional Action Plan and the requirements of the Division's Statewide fire and emergency role and in partnership with community and government agencies.
