The Role

An opportunity has become available for a Health Practitioner (Clinical Trainer - Clinical Informatics) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

  • Facilitate and provide training to meet the business requirement needs of clinical informatics
  • Have knowledge of relevant standards, clinical guidelines and advanced clinical practice
  • Maintain a patient centric focus when assisting with the development and provision of ieMR training
  • Assist in the identification, development and delivery of post Go-Live adhoc and/or refresher training and support activities at the ward/unit level
About you


To be successful in this position you will require:

  • Qualification from a recognised tertiary institution for a Health Practitioner discipline as identified in Schedule 1 of the HPEB2 Agreement
  • AHPRA Registration
  • Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (Chicken Pox), Pertussis (Whooping Cough), Hepatitis B and COVID 1
  • Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
  • Declaration of serious discipline history must be completed

Salary

  • Temporary full time however, suitable part time or job share arrangements may be accommodated within this role (twelve months, with the possibility of extension)
  • Base salary ranging from $ $ per annum

Clinical Informatics and Technology Services is one of four directorates providing digital services within the division


The service provides:

Clinical system workflow support and adoption; Change requests and optimisation; Change management; Technical and integration specialist support; Incident and problem management; Testing support; Hosting Services; End User Services; Solution Development Services; Hospital Infrastructure Services and Application Operation and Provisioning.
