What's the role?

Reporting into the Head of 92.9 Triple M Content, the
Announcer/Content Assistant is responsible for helping to execute the strategic and operational plan of Triple M Perth and ensure the continued success of the station.

You will also have a regular on-air shift to present on a format that is 'A little different from the regular kids'

As Content Assistant, you'll also be tasked with handling some of the station admin tasks, as well as assisting with Operations and Formguiding.

It's a really solid gig for someone who wants to start honing some off air skills, or taking a tentative first step into a metro market.

But most importantly you'll be immersing yourself that is doing something completely different - So we strongly suggest you take some time to have a listen to the station before applying, as we aren't your usual Triple M format.

Your primary aim will be ensuring SCA's strategic plan is delivered through all content, and ultimately you will be responsible for delivering winning, engaging audio.

In addition, you will maintain exceptional levels of on-air execution, ensuring that only fresh and relevant content goes to air and that our listeners love what they hear.

What you'll need?

Minimum 3 years experience in a Commercial Radio Environment
Significant onair experience with the ability to carry shifts at a commercial level (Either as a show anchor or a music shift)
A distinctive and unique onair presence with a style that complements Triple M Perth's format
A hunger to do whatever it takes to create creative and unique content aligned to the brand
Outstanding communication skills and the ability to engage the Triple M Network's target audience
Exceptional time management, the ability to maintain focus and output when working under pressure
An expert of execution
Attention to detail and a willingness to execute a number of offair tasks
Initiative You don't need to wait to be given Projects
You hunt them down
An ability to keep on your toes within a fastpaced, ever changing environment. Be nimble
Possess an intimate knowledge of CRA's Codes of Practice and Broadcasting Standards
Be genuinely passionate about the industry and have the desire to be a future leader of SCA
