About the role


The Project Officer - ES (Emergency Services) NAT (National) will contribute to the design, planning, and coordination of projects to support communities to prepare for disasters.


With guidance from the Senior Officer, develop and maintain project plans, documents, reports, tools, resources and communications to ensure delivery of project milestones while ensuring projects operate within budget and relevant policy/practice frameworks.


What you will bring

  • Sound knowledge of contemporary project management and the ability to work within all stages of a project life cycle within clear objectives and budget constraints
  • Ability to work under general direction from senior employees to work with and support teams and people from diverse backgrounds and contribute to a collaborative working environment
  • Demonstrated skills in managing time, setting priorities, planning and organising own work, and delivering results
  • A current Working with Children's Check is mandatory
