The opportunity


The Warehouse Operations Manager - NSW is responsible for driving exceptional operational performance & service within our NSW Distribution center.

The role blends productivity improvement, relationship management, analysis and execution.

Success requires close and effective collaboration with our stakeholders and logistics business partners in leading KPI's in line with SLA's.

The role requires a continuous improvement mindset with a customer centric approach for end-toend operations and team success.

The Warehouse Operations Manager - NSW role is suitable for a seasoned operations manager or key account manager with experience in supplier relationship management, strong process orientation and a deep understanding on Safety, Quality and cost control.


  • Develop and regularly present to DT management the operational milestones, key performance measures and improvement opportunities.
  • Assist in ensuring that business partner contractual requirements are being delivered across budget and service expectations.
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of ongoing operational projects.
  • Optimise order cycle and flow of product and be the primary interface between DT and its business partners for day to day and tactical planning.
  • Monitor performance leveraging technology and dashboards as well as physical oversight in line with the DT strategic relationship management framework.
  • Monitor, analyze and measure business partner operational performance against agreed performance budget and targets.
  • Prepare dashboards and participate in quarterly business review meetings between DT and the business partner.

Experience required:


  • 5+ years' experience in management of large Warehouse & Logistics operations related fields and its best practices at a management capacity
  • Proven commercial and financial acumen in managing contract logistics.
  • Knowledge of reputable ERP / WMS systems
  • Experience in operational safety management systems
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence, manage and develop teams.
  • A strong work ethic, flexible in approach and supportive of others
  • Track record of driving and implementing processes and procedures aligned with business objectives.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills with intermediate to advanced Excel
  • Leadership experience, including managing a team, as well as effectively influencing other teams.
