Our client, a large engineering company in
Hallam has an immediate requirement for an experienced CNC Laser Operator

The role:
Produce laser cut parts by setting up and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) laser. Achieve optimum efficiency and productivity with minimum wastage of time, materials and consumables.

To be successful in obtaining this position, you will;
-
1+ years' experience with Laser Machines:

Read basic engineering drawings and be able to work from these:

-
Follow detailed work instructions:

-
Overhead crane usage:

-
Forklift license:

-
Able to do some overtime during the week and some Saturdays
Duties and responsibilities include;

Using hand and power tools:

Monitoring the CNC Laser during continuous production:

Have the capability and dexterity to operate other machinery:

Visually monitor parts to ensure quality accuracy:

Document control during production:

Packaging laser cut parts:

Meet production goals:

Good communication skills:
