The Position

The Board of Directors at Montsalvat are seeking to appoint a Chief Executive Officer to lead this iconic organisation through the next phase of its evolution.

The CEO will provide innovative leadership and promote a collegial and inspiring working environment for staff, artists and visitors. There will be a focus on risk management, revenue generating strategies, profitability and financial sustainability.

Working with the Board of Directors, the CEO will lead and implement the overall strategic plan and artistic vision of Montsalvat.

They will work collegially with a small and committed team of arts, educational, curatorial, business, operational and administrative staff.

The CEO will provide effective and transparent governance support and advice to the Board.

Partnerships, community development and stakeholder engagement are also key aspects of the role, as is accountability for budget outcomes and resource allocation.

As outlined in Montsalvat's Constitution, there is also an option for the CEO to be the Board Secretary.
