About the role:


Based in Sydney, the Assistant Development Manager will be responsible for delivering analytics, reporting, and project support services in the Industrial Development team.


How will you make an impact:
As Assistant Development Manager the key responsibilities are as follows:

  • Analysis
  • in consultation with Development operative's preparation of acquisition, origination and project feasibilities including active cost reporting for live industrial projects. Ensure that all commercial, finance, statutory and regulatory requirements are understood, communicated to stakeholders and satisfactorily resolved
  • Business Partnering deliver valueadd and commercially focused customer service to key stakeholders across each development and within the Portfolio and Asset Management, Planning & Analysis and Funds Management Team teams. Identify financial and commercial solutions to development and property related issues. Building strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Project support & project planning
  • Reporting & Financial Management
  • Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Other Tasks provide advice and work with members of appropriate teams to deliver business projects and efficiencies as well as assisting with adhoc reports and tasks

About You:

  • Demonstrated understanding of property valuations and development.
  • Strong business writing and financial modelling skills
  • Experience with budgeting and forecasting
  • Advantageous to have had experience as Assistant Valuer / Development Management, Project administration and/or project management experience and roles.
  • Qualifications: Tertiary degree qualification in Engineering/Construction Management/Business/Property/Land Economics/Project Management/Law/Town Planning
  • Further studies in Property Valuation is desirable.
