This role will suit someone who enjoys solving problems, working with suppliers, internal stake holders and an individual who can harness their organisational skills working with numerous sites to ensure the best outcomes for our transport and Storage operation.

Previous experience scheduling and monitoring transport requirements, undertaking and reconciling stock counts and providing performance information to key stakeholders will prove invaluable to your success to this role.


Key Responsibilities:


  • As Transport and Logistics Coordinator, this role will report to the Warehouse Manager. You will implement and monitor the logistics strategies to ensure deliveries are achieved in a timely, effective and efficient manner.
  • Managing the daytoday transport service demands from receipt of transport orders to delivery of products to end customers using stateofart systems and business processes.
  • Daytoday operational exception management and management of subcontractors to ensure customer DIFOT is achieved;
  • Liaising with contracted carriers to execute transport orders in an efficient and effective manner;
  • Outcomes that meet and exceed customer service and value delivery expectations;
  • Using excellent judgment and highly developed analytical skills to deliver highquality decisions; and
  • Developing and maintaining exceptional relationships with customer operational staff, carriers, and internal staff.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required Includes:

  • Experience using ERP systems, preferably SAP
  • Drive and passion to innovate and learn new ways of doing things.
  • A strong mechanical aptitude will be highly regarded
  • Ability to adapt to changes and think quickly
  • Strong communication skills and ability to communicate cross functions with various levels of the organisation
  • Selfmotivated and a team player
