Botany Park Preschool is a community based and committee managed preschool.

We provide a 3 year old program for up to 22 children and a 4 year old program for up to 29 children.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Certificate III Educator to join our team at Botany Park Preschool commencing on Friday 27th January 2023.

Conditions of employment
- part-time role
hours per week (15 contact hours, 3.75 non-contact hours)

• Monday and Thursday 8:00am2:00pm (Contact time 5hrs 8:15am1:15pm, 1hr noncontact time each day)
• Wednesday 7:45am 2:30pm (Contact time 5hrs 8:00am1:00pm, 1hr 45mins noncontact time)
• You will work in our fouryearold group of 29 children
• You will work alongside our Early Childhood Educator and Diploma Educator.
• Can successfully work in a cooperative and professional manner, with our existing team of experienced educators.
• Has sound knowledge of the Curriculum Framework, Quality Framework, Child Safe Standards and Regulations.
• Demonstrates knowledge of Assessment and Rating requirements and visits.
• Is highly organised, with well developed time management skills.
• Has the ability to work with a parent led Committee of Management.

Employment is under the Victorian Early Childhood Teachers and Educators Agreement 2020

The applicants must meet the following criteria;

• An Early Childhood Education certificate, diploma, as approved by the Australian Children's Education & Care Quality Authority (ACECQA)
• Current First Aid Certificate including CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma
• Mandatory Reporting Certificate
• Must hold a valid and current Working with Children
• Must hold a current (not older than 6 months) National Police Check
